HIRTA provides door to door transit services in the counties of Boone, Dallas, Jasper, Madison,
Marion, Story and Warren.
ALL RIDES ARE OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC
Rides are provided on a demand-response basis, curb to curb, and scheduled 24 hours in advance with your County Transportation service. Please click COUNTIES WE SERVE tab (above) to get specific contact, hours of operation and fare information
Minimum Service hours are 7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday, with the exception of some holidays. Additional hours and days may be available within each county.
HIRTA Public Transit does not discriminate on the basis of race, age, disability, religion, color, sex or national origin. If anyone feels there has been a violation of this policy, please contact the HIRTA provider in your County. If the issue is not satisfactorily resolved, contact the HIRTA Administrative Office.
