HIRTA provides door to door transit services in the counties of
Boone, Dallas, Jasper, Madison, Marion, Story and Warren.
ALL RIDES ARE OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC Rides are provided on a demand-response basis, door to door, and scheduled 24 hours in advance with your County Transportation service. Please click COUNTIES WE SERVE tab (above) to get specific contact, hoursof operation and fare information
Minimum Service hours are 7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday, with the exception of some holidays. Additional hours and days may be available within each county.
HIRTA Public Transit does not discriminate on the basis of race, age, disability, religion, color, sex or national origin.
