Adverse Weather Reminder

A Friendly reminder about HIRTA's adverse weather policy:

  • Customers are responsible for snow removal to make their homes accessible to the HIRTA transit drivers. Drivers are not allowed to assist customers through snow or ice.
  • If a customer schedules service knowing that a path has not been cleared to their homes, the trip will be considered a “no-show”, and the “no-show” policy will apply.
For the safety of our passengers and our drivers, HIRTA will be enforcing the adverse weather policy. Please help us keep everyone safe by maintaining your driveway and sidewalk this winter season.
