Access2Care

Access2Care is the innovation arm of Global Medical Response, developing services and technologies that are transforming the delivery of medical care. These services include managed transportation, online medical-transport ordering, transfer center coordination, nurse navigation and ET3 partnerships.

Aging Resources

The mission of Aging Resources of Central Iowa is to lead, advocate and serve as well as plan and coordinate resources in the provision of services to persons in central Iowa, their families, caregivers or representatives enabling elders to lead independent, meaningful and dignified lives in the least restrictive environment.

Central Iowa Community Services

CICS supports individuals and strengthens communities by serving the unique needs of individuals with mental health and intellectual and other disabilities in Iowa.

Central Iowa Regional Transportation and Planning Alliance (CIRTPA)

The Central Iowa Regional Transportation Planning Alliance (CIRTPA) organized in 1994 to carry out transportation planning for eight counties in central Iowa. It serves as the designated regional transportation planning agency for the Iowa Department of Transportation’s Region 11. The CIRTPA coordinates planning and programming efforts in the region and fosters new partnerships with state and local officials.

CyRide

CyRide is the city bus system for Ames, Iowa. It is a collaboration between the City of Ames, Iowa State University (ISU), and ISU's Student Government. CyRide operates 13 fixed routes, a Dial-A-Ride service for persons with a disability, and a late night service.

Iowa Economic Development (IEDA)

The Iowa Economic Development Authority's (IEDA) mission is to strengthen economic and community vitality by building partnerships and leveraging resources to make Iowa the choice for people and business. Through two main divisions – business development and community development – IEDA administers several state and federal programs to meet its goals of assisting individuals, communities and businesses.

The Federal Transit Administration (FTA)

The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) provides financial and technical assistance to local public transit systems, including buses, subways, light rail, commuter rail, trolleys and ferries. FTA also oversees safety measures and helps develop next-generation technology research.

United Way

We partner with the Boone County United Way, Marion County United Way, United Way of Central Iowa, and the United Way of Story County. United Way advances the common good by creating opportunities for all. Their focus is on education, income and health—the building blocks for a good quality of life and a strong community.

Our Cities & Counties

We partner with the city of Ames, Newton, Winterset, Pleasantville, Ogden, Adel, Waukee, and Norwalk. We also partner with all of our seven counties to best serve our communities.
